Membership in the Ontario Straw Bale Building Coalition has many benefits:

free admission to the Annual Tour of Straw Bale Homes and Buildings

financial support for testing and code-acceptance of bale building
helps the organization promote straw bale building to building officials, the general public, and children through displays, speaking engagements, the web, and a toll-free number for inquiries

Business Member - $200.00 (CAD) Subscription period: 1 year No recurring payments Business members are voting (one vote) members of the OSBBC who receive all of the regular member benefits, plus a listing with logo in the Business Directory on the OSBBC website, and the opportunity to receive discounts on OSBBC professional publications

Family - $30.00 (CAD) Subscription period: 1 year No recurring payments Family members are voting (one vote) members of the OSBBC who reside in the same household.

Individual - $20.00 (CAD) Subscription period: 1 year No recurring payments Individual members are voting (one vote) members of the OSBBC. Members can participate in the online forum.

Non-profit Organization - $50.00 (CAD) Subscription period: 1 year No recurring payments Non-profit educational organizations are voting (one vote) members of the OSBBC who receive regular benefits plus a listing in the Non-Profit Organization directory on the web site.

Straw Bale Building Owner - Free Subscription period: Unlimited FREE. Straw bale building owners are voting (one vote) members who receive all of the benefits of an individual or family membership. REQUIREMENTS: You must own a straw bale building in Ontario and have added your building to our Registry complete with at least one picture to have your membership fee waived. Tour participants (past and present) also receive a free membership in exchange for opening up their home to tours.
